NFDITalks presents projects and scientists from various disciplines related to the NFDI.
On 1 September 2025, nfdi.software had the opportunity to introduce itself in detail and answer questions from the audience.
The 50-minute presentation plus discussion was held by team members Martin Reinhardt, Marc Hanisch, Michael Zacharias, Stefan Wittek and Oliver Werth. They explained in detail what the goals of nfdi.software are, how to obtain access and register software, and how to build and maintain communities. Michael Zacharias explained in particular how to access the physics.tools repository, and Stefan Wittek clarified the role of Betty's (Re)Search Engine in nfdi.software.
Finally, Oliver Werth provided an insight into the goals that the nfdi.software team has set itself for the integration phase.
The audience responded to the presentation with very positive feedback and inspired the speakers with new input.
