**nfdi.software presenting the main Building Blocks at the Roadshow in December 2024**

Shortly after nfdi.software began its initialization phase, the team defined its main goals, which were immediately published at the base4nfdiroadshow in December.
There will be five main building blocks in nfdi.software which frame the project plans:
1. Research Software Directory als a digital marketplace for research software
Dedicated to improve findability, citeability and impact
2. Repositories and their entries (RSD, bio.tools, Betty´s Research Engine, physics.tools)
3. LLM based search engine (Fine-tune a Large Language Model already trained for general purposes)
4. Semantically structured metadata for Research Software
5. Community & Networking
